A: We virtually hand select each piece of lumber that is exposed to the weather. We specifically choose premium grade knot free wood. Then by using a quality Oil based stain with UV protection you can be assured of a long lasting wood deck. Porter Deck Stain or Super Deck are the stains we recommend.
